The Rating System

Our algorithm rates every Premier League player on a scale where 1500 represents the position average. Ratings above 1600 indicate strong performers, while 1700+ marks elite territory.

Unlike simple points tables, our system accounts for consistency, adjusts for fixture difficulty, and identifies players who are performing above or below their underlying numbers.

Form Trends

The form arrows (▲▲▲ to ▼▼▼) compare a player's recent output against their medium-term average. This helps identify who's heating up and who's cooling off before it shows in the headline stats.

Regression Flags

Some players get lucky. Others get unlucky. Our system identifies players whose output doesn't match their underlying performance, helping you buy low and sell high.

DUE Creating chances but not converting. The goals should come. Good buy target.

OVER Scoring beyond sustainable levels. May regress. Consider taking profits.

Edge Indicators

Special badges highlight players with distinct advantages:

ELITE Proven quality. Consistently delivers at the highest level.

FIXTURE-PROOF Performs regardless of opponent. Safe captain choice.

CLINICAL Elite conversion rate. Makes the most of their chances.

OVER Outperforming underlying stats. Ride the wave but stay alert.

Key Metrics

PvE Points vs Expected. Above 1.0 means outperforming underlying stats. Below 1.0 means underperforming.

PPG Points per game. Simple but essential. Shows average return when playing.

GP Games played. More games = more reliable data. Be cautious with small samples.

Updated Weekly

Ratings refresh automatically after each Premier League gameweek, typically within 24 hours of the final match. Check back to stay ahead of the curve.
